This little rubber piece was what was making it so damn stiff. Opened it up, took it out, then put it back together. The brake pedal is still a little stiff, but it’s certainly less stiff than it was before.

It’s actually a known pedal mod, made to run your pedals with shoes...I guess they made it standard with the G920. If you’re used to use your wheel in socks or barefoot, you’re better off without it indeed... But with shoes it actually provides a much better feel than without it.

That’s similar to the Nixim mod people would put in G25/G27 pedals. At first it’s a bit weird but the theory behind it is great, it makes the rotation-based pedals feel more like the pressure-based pedals in real vehicles, honestly after driving with one for a little while it becomes very comfortable.

Tried it with my driving shoes. Didn’t make much of a difference.

I’d suggewst giving it some time... After a while you will notice it’s a lot more realistic that normal spring based pedals...

I can always put it back in. You’re right, maybe it’ll feel better once it’s in my sim rig.

going to have to take a look at my g920 as I thought the brake pedal was incredibly stiff and barely registered above 50% braking on FM6 with it how I normally would use the brake pedal
need to google for other tips and tricks with these
